Burj Khalifa' is 828 metres high

Burj Khalifa, is the tallest building in the world, and the magnificent centerpiece of Downtown Dubai, a new, world-class destination.Burj Khalifa has been the world's tallest building since 2010. The stunning name change of the world's tallest building from Burj Dubai to Burj Khalifa, in a tribute to Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahayan at the  tower's opening.It is some 300 metres taller than the previous record holder, Taipei 101.
The Burj Khalifa’s observatory deck has been operational from the 5th January 3pm. Since then, visitors have flocked to Dubai Mall’s latest attraction leading to a sell out of tickets. Two men have set a world record for the highest base jump after parachuting from the top of the world's highest building.  More info on this huge structure coming to you soon from the heart of middle east - Dubai.

I cannot believe its February and it is suddenly raining in a city like Dubai! So yes we get the picture of how serious global warming has began. I remember Dubai used to be like a desert (not that it is not now!) , but you could witness rain maybe for a day or two , once in a year making you feel like a camel in the desert.

India VS Malaysia 3-0 Fed Cup

India has qualified to the Group-I of the Fed Cup as India dumped Malaysia 3-0 in Group A of the Asia/Oceanic Group II of the Fed Cup in Kuala Lumpur.
India dominated in all three matches against Malaysia including two singles and one doubles match as they won all matches without even losing a single set.
Poojashree Venkatesha gave India 1-0 lead as India’s no. 2 outplayed Chin-Bee Khoo in straight sets by 6-1, 6-1. Sania Mirza extended the lead to 2-0 after she thrashed Jawairiah Noordin 6-1 ,6-1 in the second women’s singles match.

Facebook changes again to a new Avatar!

Facebook keeps changing its layout , features and design every time.
One morning you open the homepage and wow you have everything out of place. But I am quite happy with the new one. Seems much more organised.

Its funny how the Ads appear in your inbox before the actually message opens up.Surprise! Surprise you can see all your friends online too on the left hand box.  It seems Facebook is having a take at a more of Gmail - Email look with all the Tabs shifted to the left now.

But anyway my inbox somehow gets full with 90% Junk emails from events  I must have subscribed to out of curiosity. also I think it is very rude to Tag someone else in your notes, photos and videos without asking their approval.

You know sometimes you open your own photos page and find new pictures tagged which you were never part of.

Facebook Chat still seems to like to crash often. Though I know very few people would actually login if Facebook Chat became an individual plugin!

whether you love it or either you love Facebook, it still rocks.

To Sleep or not to Sleep

Did it ever happen to you that you were so excited about the next day that you couldn't sleep the whole night?
Also have you ever been so sleepy that by the time you finished you work the sleep had gone !
You dream in the morning just to wake up to find yourself still in the Bus Going to work!
You wake up to find out it in the middle of the night! and oh yeah... you are hungry!
Your mind starts constructing creative ideas and joining them to combine the best idea ever and the only way to remember or note them is with the lights on!, but you cant be doing that when everyone else are sleeping around you.
You sleep well, but well mosquito bite just woke you up! and he ain't gonna rest till he die!
You just went to the bed.... succeeding in tackling all the above ..and the alarm goes off! ...its time to go to work :)
